A DRUNKEN FREAK.

(Special to Times.) AUCKLAND, Friday

G \ S Hodgson pleaded guilty to voting twice at the general election He got drunk on the morning of November 14 and after voting went to sleep it off. On awakening he forgot the events of the morning and voted again at the same booth, the poll clerk noticing him after the papers had been deposited in the box. Hodgson was fined £1 and costs, the Magistrate describing the action as merely a drunken freak.
