YOUNG MAN VICTIMISED.

SCOUNDRELLY ACTS OF FATHER CREDITORS SYMPATHETIC. WITHDRAW ALL CLAIMS. (By Telegraph—Special to Times.) AUCKLAND, Friday. " It appears that this young man. has suffered grievously as a result of the scoundrelly acts of his father," said Mr. Justice Frazer, in the Bankruptcy Court. " Creditors," said His Honour, " had recognised the position, and the Official Assignee is satisfied. I will therefore make an order for the annulment of the bankruptcy."

The bankruptcy was that of Vernon Lyell Aley, of Auckland, carpenter. Mr. Wills said his client was aged 21 years. When he was made bankrupt young Aley was working on wages. He agreed in one instance that his father should purchase certain goods from a timber company in the name of Aley, junior, but since then his father had" continued lo carry on operations and had impersonated the son right through. Claims and accounts came by post addressed to 'V. L. Aley Company," care of the father. The son never received these and had no knowledge of what was going on. The boy, who had been so heinously victimised, commenced to pay some of the debts from his wages, but when he found that he was involved in transactions amounting to several hundred pounds he had tiled his petition in bankruptcy. The creditors had now withdrawn all claims against young A'ey, thus vindicating him. The Official Assignee said the facts as stated were substantially correct. The matter was now before the Crown solicitor.
