DAIRY PAY-OUTS.

NOVEMBER SUPPLY. t f TE AWAMUTU. Te Awamutu Co-operative Dairy Company, Ltd., manufactured 114 tons 14 cwt. of butter during November, the quantity made during the same month last year being 73-i tons. The output for the season to date is 343 tons, compared with 215 tons for the same period of last year—an increase of 60 per cent. The company is making a cash advance on the 20th instant of Is 5d per lb for finest butter-fat supplied in November, and shareholders will be credited with an additional id. The total cash payment for the month is £14,888, compared with £9035 for November last year, when the rate of advance was Is 4d. The total cash pavment for the season to date is £45,474, compared with £27,289 for the same period last year. The flush of supply was reached in this district during the last ten days of November, and a slight decline has been evident this month. The recent rains, however, have already had a highly benelicial effect, and butterfat production should remain fairly steady during the month. A bountiful growth, combined with a buoyant butter market in London, makes dairy farmers here optimistic of breaking all previous records for butter-fat production and financial returns. KAKEPUKU. The Kakepuku Dairy Factory (cheese manufacturing) is making an advance payment of is 6d per lb. -A similar advance was made last year. During the month £1993 10s has been distributed, an advance of £63 16s 6d on the corresponding month of last season. For the season to date £5921 7s Id has been paid out, compared with £5674 8s 8d for last season. NORFOLK. An advance of Is 6d per lb will be made to suppliers of the Norfolk Dairy Factory (cheese manufacturing) on the November supply. A similar advance was made in November, 1927. The distribution for the month, £4470, shows an increase on that for the same month of last season, when £4231 was paid out. For the season to date (six months) £14,994 has been advanced, compared with £13,562 last season. TATUA. The Tatua Dairy Company handled 107,7191 b of butter-fat during November, compared with 102,5561 b in November, 1927. The rate of pay-out was Is 6d (cheese), against Is 5d a lb last year. During the month £BO7S 18s 6d has been distributed, a substantial increase over the corresponding month of last season, when £7264 4s was distributed. The pav-out for the season to date is £27,536 18s 6d, compared with £23,529 4s for the same period last season. SUNNY PARK. \ profitable season has been experienced by the Sunny Park Factory. advances for the mon h totalling £5820 (cheese Is 6d and butter Is -id a lb), compared with £4113 (cheese is 5d and butter Is 4*d).
