KOROMATUA.

Sunday School Tea. The children of the Koromatua Sunday School wore treated to their annual tea by their teachers on Saturday, after which a most enjoyable and instructive lantern lecture was given by Mr Bryce, the beautiful coloured views of American scenery being received with exclamations of delight by young and old. A series of coloured pictures from the Bible was then shown, and being simply explained by Mr Moore as they were thrown on the screen served to explain the subject much more clearly to the childrenMr Len Moore has been a devoted worker for the Sunday School at Koroinatua for the past eight or nine years, coming out from town every Sunday and always with a band of enthusiastic workers with him. Young and old had a thoroughly enjoyable time on Saturday, and It is nice to see how much the teachers think of the children and the children of their teachers. The work the children have been doing was on view, such as knitted jumpers, etc, fancy articles, scrapbooks, and other things they had made and collected, which arc being sent to the missions in India and leper stations.
