TIPSTER’S PUBLICATION. PROSECUTION FAILS. rr (Bv Telegraph—Press Association) DUNEDIN, Friday. ATr Bundle, S.M., to-day dismissed the case in which Francis Joseph Hayward was charged with publishing and circulating on May 4 a document “ The Southern Sporting Guide,” purporting to be a programme of trotting events at Forbury Park on May 5. The Afagistratc held that the inclusion of the list of acceptances did not make the document a programme. If tiie document, purported to do anything it was lo give information lo a “ gullible public.”
