TE AROHA.
Obituary. General regret was expressed in Te Aroha on receipt of news from Dunediu that Mrs Dempster, wife of Dr. Dempster of Te Aroha had passed away. Personal. Mrs F. W. Bliss, Te Aroha, paid a visit to Woodville a few days ago on account, or the illness of her mother. Their many friends will be pleased to know that the health of the. mother has improved. _, Mr B. Self,Who has filled the position of Field Inspector under the Lands and Survey Department for the past four and a-half years, takes his departure from Te Aroha on Tuesday. He has been transferred to the Valuation Department, Wellington. During his sojourn in the district Mr Self has made many friends and by his general tact has earned Hie esteem of every settler with whom he came in contact.
