TE KAWA.
New Hall. The Te Kawa Town Hall, whioh is being built by voluntary labour under the supervision of Mr A. Burton, is rapidly taking shape. This is very gratifying to residents, as it is some eight years now since the proposition was first mooted. Good Growth. | Owing to the wonderful autumn the farmers who suffered so severely through the recent swamp fires will now have abundant spring feed, as tho recently-sown areas have come away remarkably well. School Renovated. The Te Kawa West School opens for the new term on Monday, and the children and teacher will find, in the freshly-painted interior, greater incentive to work than was formerly the case. The walls have been painted cream and brown and the desks freshly varnished.
