The Bishop of "Blackburn (Right Rev.' P. M. Herbert), has accepted the resignation of the Rev. E. Lauri'a, vicar of St. Guthberfs. Darwen, which has been the scene of many unseemly incidents owing to the alleged ritualistic practices. Mr Lauria declares that he did not use unlawful rites or ceremonies arid he taught nothing unlawful.
