MURDERED CHINESE.

The police at Silkwoo'd (near lnnisfail) arrested a woodcutter on a charge of murder of a Chinese storekeeper and his son. He state'd lhat he is a New Zealander, but his name has not been disclosed. The bodies of a Chinese storekeeper and his son were found brutally mutilated in their store during the week-end. There was evidence of a violent struggle. It was thought the police would experience great difficulty in tracing the assassin as heavy rain had obliterated all tracks.
