BUCKLAND AND SON'S REPORT. ______ (Special to Times.) AUCKLAND, Wednesday. Messrs Alfred Buckland and Son's report that at their WestfieJd fat stock sale they penned 369 head, comprising 170 steers and 100 cows and heifers, compared with 437 last Wednesday. The quality generally was not quite equal to that of last week,, although several consignments of good quality were yarded. Heavy cattle were easier and lighter weights about the same as at last report. Quotations:— Extra choice ox sold up to 3Gs per lOOlbs, choice and prime 32s to 355, ordinary and plain 28s Gd lo 30s, prime young cow and heifer beef 25s lo 28s, ordinary cow beef 21s to 245. Extra heavy prime steers ranged in price from £l4 10s to £lO J7s Gd, heavy prime .steers ill 2 Jss to £l4, lighter prime steers £IJ 10s to £l2 Ids, lighl prime steers £l.O to £ll ss, unfinished and small £4 17s Gd to £0 10s. One large bullock from Mr 11. J. Gill (Te Puke) realised £2l ss.
