QUESTION OF VALUATION. 1 REMIT CARRIED. The plight of settlers living in swamp drainage areas who are not granted the right of appeal against valuation and classification was again discussed at Hie provincial conference of tin' fanners' Union to-day. Yesterday lhe ma Her was considered and deferred, peiHling the arrival of other Kaitaia representatives. Dclegales agreed that an alteration should he made in Hie Acl to provide for the right of appeal, and the remit was carried.
