SERVICES AT HAMILTON. memorial park arrangements. ATTENDANCE OF SCHOOL CHILDREN Arrangements arc now completed for the Anzac Memorial Services to be held at Hamilton on Wednesday. War Veterans, Territorials and Cadets will assemble in Ward Street at 10.45 a-m.. and, headed by the Waikato Regimental and Hamilton Municipal Band, will march down Victoria Street arid River Road to the Memorial Park. The parade will be under the command of Major R. D. McFarland, M.C. Units will march in the following order. —Returned Soldiers, 2nd Battery, “A" Company, Waikato Regiment, and “E,” '‘A” and “B” Companies of the Cadet Battalion.

It had previously been, arranged that school children, boy scouts and girl guides should assemble at Knox Street, and, headed by the Pipe Band, should march to the Memorial Park. This arrangement has now been amended. Those schools who wish their pupils to attend in a body under the control of their teachers, will now assemble at any convenient place adjacent to the ground. Boy scouts, girl guides and the Pipe Band, will join the military parade at Ward Street, opposite the Horse Bazaar, and will move off at 10.45.

At the park His Worship the Mayor Mr J. R. Fow, will preside at the commemoration service which will open with the National Anthem and- the hymn ”0 God, Our Help in Ages Past.” Pastor Josiah Salisbury will offer prayer, and there will be a Scripture reading by a representative of the Returned Soldiers’ Association, followed by the hymn, “Lead Kindly Light.” The Rev. 11. G. Gilbert will then give an address. A selection will he played by the Waikato Regimental and Hamilton Municipal Band. The service will be concluded with the Benediction by the Very Rc.v. Dean Barnett. Should the morning prove wet, the service will be held in the Drill Hail, Knox Street. Jn such event, the public will be notified by (he sounding of the gasworks’ siren at 10.45. The service will commence at 11.30 a.m. The Salvation Army has arranged a memorial service to he held in the Town Hall on Anzac night, when a cenotaph will be erected on the platform. The guards will place a wreath under draped flags during the rendition of “The Dead March” from Saul. The bugler will use the bugle he carried with him at the landing on Gallipoli. The instrument was tile gift of the Auckland Club, and was carried throughout the Gallipoli and European campaigns by Bugler 11. M. Libeau, of Frankton. Seating accommodation is being reserved for returned soldiers and relatives.

Solemn Requiem Mass will be celebrated at the Church of Our Lady of the Rosary, Hamilton East, at 9 a.m.
