PERSONAL.
Mr John Farrell, of the J. C. Williamson management, is in Hamilton, lie is at the Hamilton Hotel. Messrs Maurice Moscovitch, Patric Curwen and Mat Madison (of the Moscovitch Company), J. R. Smith and C. Haycock (Auckland), and D. Fulton are at the Hamilton Hotel. Mr Rudall Hayward, who has been in Hamilton in connection with the screening of “Hamilton’s Hectic Husbands,’’ returned to Auckland to-day. Mr. J. Munro, of Canterbury, brother of Mr. 11. .Munro, manager of the Iluakura Farm of Instruction, is visiting Hamilton. Rev.- J. E. Blackburne, of Lower Hull, is on a visit to Cambridge, and is staying with his brother, Mr G. 11. Blackburne, at “Highlands.” The guests at the Grand Central Hotel include Messrs. D. W. Wright, T. Adams (Auckland , Messrs. T. it. Patterson, D. Hebenton, and V. J. Skinner (Wellington). His Worship the Mayor, who has been attending a meeting of the executive of the Municipal Association at. Wellington, returned to Hamilton this morning. The Minister of Education (Hon. R. A. Wright) and the Minister of Lands (Hon. A. D. McLeod) left Wellington this morning on a brief visit to the Wairarapa electorate. To minister to the spiritual needs of the growing Yugoslav community of the Dominion, a priest of their native country, Rev. Fattier Milan Pavlinovich, will arrive in Auckland from Sydney by the Marama to-morrow. of the Scout movement. Mr T. It. Patterson, Senior Instructor to the Department of Agriculture in the Auckland province, who leaves shortly to lake up an important position at the Hawkesbury College, Mew South Wales, was in Hamilton to-day. Mr Sydney Simmons has voluntarily resigned as Commissioner of the Boy Scouts in Hamilton and district. Brigadier-General A. W. Andrew, Chief Commissioner of Scouts for New Zealand, in accepting the resignation with regret, pays a tribute to Mr Simmons’ work for the three years over which he has held Ibis appointment, and expresses his grateful J thanks for the rdicient services Mr Simmons has extended in the interests 1 of the Scout movenieuf-
