LONDON TO CANADA. INAUGURATION OF SERVICE. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, Oct. 2. It is announced by the PostmasterGeneral, Sir W. Milchcll-Thomson, that a telephone service between England and Canada will be inaugurated at 3 p.m. to-morrow. It is reported from Ottawa that the service will be opened by a conversation between Mr. Baldwin and Mr. Mackenzie King, the British and Canadian Prime Ministers. LATER. PREMIERS EXCHANGE GREETINGS. Mr Stanley Baldwin and Mr MacKenzie King, the Prime Ministers of of Britain and Canada rcspctively, today exchanged greetings al the opening of wireless telephony to Canada, for which a charge is £5 per minute. This service does not utilise the Canadian beam, concerning which experiments have nol progressed enough to have a bearing on the possibilities of beam telephony to Austrajia.
