The audited balance-sheet of the entertainment given by iMiss Gladys Denz on behalf of the Hamilton Beautifying Society shows: — Total receipts, £9.1 Ss 8d; Burley's, 4s Id; Hamilton Hardware Co., Is 6d; Booth and Chapman, £1 6s 6d; 11. N. Forsythe, 5s 6d; Carde's Drapery Store, £1 5s 7d r ; Ellis and Burnand, 6s 8d; House and Daking, 9s 6d; rent of Theatre Royal, lighting, orchestra, and staff, £2O; Waikato Times, £l3 5s 6d; rehearsal attendant, 10s; Gothorpe, Flyman, Rawlins, Miss Bullock. 12s 6d; J. Lougblin, £2 10s 6d; Eady and Co., £2 5s sd; Toorak Chambers, ss; make-up, 6s; Total £43 lis 3d. This leaves a credit balance of £47 14s sd, which has been handed over to the Society. Miss Denz and her associates deserve thanks for this handsome donation to the Society's funds.
