TECHNICAL OLD GIRLS.

1 ENJOYABLE SOCIAL. On Tuesday evening the Old Girls’ Association of the Hamilton Technical College held a most enjoyable social in the Theatre Royal tea-rooms which were prettily decorated with balloons and streamers. The music left nothing to he desired. The members of the committee and especially the secretary (Miss E. Rothwcll) are to be congratulated on the success, of the function. In tiie absence of the president (Mrs V. Fraser) Mrs T. N. Pemberton, on Dehalf of the Old Girls, presented Miss G. Toombs, who will leave Hamilton shortly to join the nursing staff of the Wanganui Hospital, with a suit case. Mrs Pemberton spoke of the Afliigh esteem in which Miss Toombs was held by the members of the association, and wished her every success in her new vocation.
