MEETING AT CLAUDELANDS. The Claudelands Croquet Club held ils annual meeting in the bowling ' pavilion on Thursday, the president, i Mrs J. R. Fow, presiding over an at- ( lendance of 27 members, j The annual report and balance-sheet ( were read and adopted, the latter 1 showing the very satisfactory surplus ! of £lB. { The following officers for the en- ( suing year were elected: President, j Mrs W. Fraser; vice-president, Mrs B. ! Bagley; hon. secretary, Mrs 11. M. ''Baker; hon. treasurer, Mrs W. Say- : ers; committee, Mesdames 11. Mercer, ■ A J. Hargreaves, J. Matthews, P. Clevcley, A. C. Bennett. It was decided that the club should affiliate this season with the South Auckland Croquet Association. d’he ladies expressed a hearty vote of thanks to members of the Bowling Club, who have done so much work in connection with the new greens, which should be in readiness for use early next year.
