COUNTRY WOMEN’S CLUB.
❖ INTERESTING MEETING. On Tuesday afternoon a large gathering assembled in the Te Pahu Hall, where a very interesting and pleasant lime was spent under the auspices of tne Country Women’s Club. Miss Hills played a pianoforte solo, which was well received, after which the president of the Country Women’s Club, Mrs Marx, introduced Rev. F. j thirty, who gave an account of his i travels abroad, his remarks being Jis- J toned to with great attention. A dainty afternoon tea, served by the ladies’ committee, was much enjoyed. ____________
