RECORD FOR THE LINKS. MISS KAY’S GOOD CARD

(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) PALMERSTON NORTH, Friday. The New Zealand ladies’ golf championship meeting was continued to-day under ideal conditions.

In the afternoon a medal handicap was decided, the winner being Mrs. D. Stout, of Wellington, 82, 8 —74. A record for the links was established this afternoon by Miss Kay, of St. Clair, Dunedin, who returned a gross score of 77. The previous record, 79, was made by Miss Gladys Siefert during this morning’s play. Before to-day the best score was 80. Miss Kay duffed her drive at the 16th and yet finished one under bogey by holing a 36ft putt. Miss Kay’s card is:—
