NZ. CRICKET COUNCIL

MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE SHARE OF GATES IN ENGLAND. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, Tuesday. At a meeting of the Management Committee of the New Zealand Cricket Association some discussion took place on the advisability of inviting a South Australian *eam next year. Mr Winsor doubted the advisability of doing so. He considered that a New South Wales or Victorian team would always be a better attraction.

It was decided to inquire if South Australia would accept an invitaiion to New Zealand in February and March next.

It was decided to stress the fact that the inclusion of star players would be essential.

Cabled advice was received that the New Zealand share of the gates at the matches in England were:—M.C.C., £124; Essex, £115; Cambridge, £9O; Middlesex, £246; Royal Navy, £42; Sussex, £92.
