MATAMATA TOWN BOARD.
i NOMINATIONS RECEIVED. (Special to Times). MATAMATA, Wednesday. The following nominations have been received for the biennial election of seven commissioners to the Matamata Town Board, Messrs. Ivan Black, J. Buchanan, J. IL Hawes, F. E. Lark, J. Mclntyre, Joseph l’ohlen, W. J. Stanley, Arthur Stewart, W. A. Turkingtou, B. C. Taylor. Mr Joseph Price was the only nomination for the local body’s representative on the Thames Valley Electric Power Board and he was declared duly elected. 'l’lic election for members of the Board will take place on Wednesday next, when a loan proposal of £SOOO for a Town Hall will also be placed before the ratepayers.
