ALLEGED THEFT.
POSTAL OFFICER CHARGED. By Telegraph -Press Association.' CHRISTCHURCH, Tuesday. On a charge of stealing £IBO, the property of the Postmaster-General, Detective J. Bickcrdiko arrested Frank Hardy Francis, supervisor at the Rangiora post office. Un the application of the police accused was remanded until June 8. lo appear at Christchurch. Bail was not applied for. It is understood that oilier charges arc pending. The accused has been in the post office service for 32 years.
