New Zealand prime crossbred lamb. North Island, heavy, 9 3-8 d; light 9Jd. The market for New Zealand lamb is weaker; the demand runs principally on poorer qualities. New Zealand prime crossbred mutton, Canterbury, heavy, 5 5-8 d; light, 6 3-Bd. New Zealand prime crossbred mutton, North Island, hcav.-, 5 3-8 d; light G l-Bd. The market for New Zealand mutton is dull owing to lack of demand. The demand is poor. Quotation: New Zealand prime ox beef, hinds, 4Jd; fores, 3£d.
