+ SENSATIONAL ALLEGATIONS. AND EMPHATIC DENIALS. TOKIO, March 15. Official advics from Mukden slate that Marshal Chang-so-lin emphatically denied an accusation made by (lie Peking Government. The allegation in question was that Chang’s fleet was Hying the Japanese flag and that this was one of the reasons for the misunderstanding which led to the shelling of the Japanese destroyers by the Taku forts.
The Japanese Foreign Office flatly denies a report which alleges that the authorities at Port Arthur allowed Chang to use their wireless for military purposes.
