The Governor-General. Sir Charles Fergusson, will leave Auckland on an island tour on Monday, April 26. The official itinerary has not yet been drawn up, but it is expected that His Excellency will leave by the TutancIcai on the morning of the 26th. He will visit all the New Zealand possessions in the Southern Pacific.

At last night's Hireling of the South Auckland Motor Traders’ Association, of which body lie is presidenl, Mr Fraser was warmly thanked for his past services, and Ids resignation from the association was accepted with regret.
