WHERE TO GO
ST. PATRICK’S DAY. SEVERAL ATTRACTIONS. To-morrow will be St. Patrick's Day, and, while it. will not. be a recognised holiday in Hamilton, some of the business premises will he closed for the occasion. There will he several attractions of a holiday nature in and close to Hamilton, and it is expected that a largo number of people will be on ihc move. The concluding day of the Ohinemuri Jockey Club's Jubilee Meeting will be held at Pacroa. Special trains from Frankton and from Auckland have been scheduled for the occasion, and the sporting public can be expected to extend strong patronage to the outing. Another fixture of annual interest on St. Patrick's Day is the aquatic carnival at Ngaruawahia. The programme of rowing and Maori canoe events is an attractive one, and holidaymakers who travel to this centre can be assured of an enjoyable outing.
The Old Boys and Present Pupils of the Hamilton High School will meet in their annual cricket contest at Seddon Park.
The tennis and bowling greens will he occupied with unofficial matches, while picnic gatherings have also been arranged for several places.
