BANQUET AT HAMILTON. AT WINTER SHOW BUILDINGS. The venue of (lie complimentary banquet lo he given by the people of Hamilton to the lion. J. A. Young on Thursday evening at 6.15 has been changed from the Town Hall lo the dining hail at the Winter Show Buildings. Among those who have signified their intention of being present are the Hon. A. D. McLeod (Minister of Lands; and the following members of Parliament: —Messrs A. M. Samuel (Ohincmuri), A. R. Harris fWailemala), D. S. Reid (Waikato}. .1. G. Rolleston (Waitomo), W. J. Jordan (Manukau), F. F. llockly (Rotorua;, and E. D. McLennan (Franklin.. II is also probable that the tlon O. J. Hawken (Minister of Agriculture) will be present. There will also be present representatives from the Auckland Harbour Board, Auckland Chamber of Commerce, Auckland Railway League, and the several surrounding public and semi-public bodies. As this is the first occasion on which a member from Hamilton has been elevated to Cabinet, rank it is to he hoped that the residents of this electorate will attend in large numbers to suitably honour the guest of the even, ing. Tickets are available from the honorary secretary, Mr J. E. Hutchinson, Everybody’s Buildings, and from Mr Stevens, bookseller, Railway Buildings.
