THE WINTER SHOW.
In chatting with the judge of the needlework suction at the winter show she told me that she considered the idea of a special class for hospital patients was an excellent one, but she thought the commit tee might go a little further and make more classes ■ —one for fancy work, one for craft work, and one for original work. She said it was impossible to give a fair decision in an open class, 13 the work varied so. This year she had to cut the class in two before she could arrive "at a satisfactory decision. I feel sure when better known this class will become a most popular one, and prizes will be freely donated.
