The township presents each morning a very busy appearance. Most of the suppliers are now bringing milk to the factory, and about 10,000 gallons are being received each day. The dryfing season will not open till September, and in the meantime the factory is' skimming the milk received. The weather has been all against the farmers until the last few weeks, and very little growth is noticeable. The stock, however, are looking well, due to the large quantity of hay and root crops provided for the winter. These are now diminishing fast, and the settlers would welcome a cessation of the frost so as to allow the grass to come away.
