HILLCREST SCHOOL.
MEETING OF COMMITTEE.
A meeting of the Hillcrest School Committee was held at the residence of Mr E. M. Masters last night. There were present Messrs A. S. Cliffe (headmaster), E. M. Masters (chairman), A. Crawford, B. Elliott, and A. 11. Davies (secretary). Permission was granted the Presbyterian Sunday School Union to hold classes at the school on Sundays. The committee decided to contribute £2 In the dental clinic. It was decided to have the school spring cleared during the holidays. Accounts amounting to £l3 10s 3d were passed for payment. The headmaster reported that the school had won the B grade football competition.
On the 291 h a public meeting will be held in the school for the purpose of forming a committee to raise funds for a piano for the school.
