WAIKATO (8) V. TAUMARUNUI (3)
The return game between Wafkato and Taumarumfi representative Association elevens was played at Soddon Park on Saturday, neither side being at full strength.
Waikato had the better of the play in the first half, Crabib and Marsh serving up some real 'daisies" for Lobb to stop. .However, up to 'half time, the only scores were two, put through by Moon for the home side. Daniels, for Waikato, was injured and retired for the rest of the game.soon after the opening of the second spell, and Taumarunui wctc constantly, on the attack, Spencer scoring for them from close range, and Jennings netting a second one towards the finish. Just on time Lobb did not clear accurately a good shot from Moon, and miskicked the ball into his own goal, Waikato running out winners by three goals to two. Mr T. G. Wilkes offl- j ciated.
•In the evening the teams were entertained by the .Waikato Association.

VISIT OF ENGLISH TEAM.

Writing from London to Mr B. L. Salmon, secretary of the New Zealand Football Association, Mr G. W. Baglie, a member of the Auckland Football Association, states that arrangements are now in train for the visit of an amateur team, composed of good players, to New Zealand In the 1924 season.
Mr Baglie will be back in New Zealand at the end of this month, and will personally inform the New Zealand Association as, to the arrangements made.
