LONDON, April U.
When Mr Stanley Baldwin, Chancellor of the Exchequer, moved that the House go into committee of supply in order lo overcome last night's difficulty, Mr Lansbury demanded that before agreeing to the motion the House should get a satisfactory assurance regarding ex-service men.
Mr Baldwin moved the closure amidst tremendous uproar from the Labour benches, which Mr Ramsay MacDonald was unable to quell. The speaker declared the motion carried, and the Labourites, singing "Tile Red Flag," refused to allow business to proceed, and the sitting was suspended for an hour.
