ACCIDENTS & FATALITIES
FOOTBALLERS INJURED. Two accidents occurred in the Rugby contest played at the Showgrounds on Saturday between Waikato and Thames Valley. F. Peach, five-eighths of the home team, sustained an injury to his knee early in the game, and was later admitted to the hospital. Towards the close of the first half, .1. Magill, captain of the Thames Valley team, came into collision with an opposing player in a tackle, and an injury to the check bone was the result, but lie was able to proceed to his home after receiving medical attention.
