GOVERNMENT MOVING.
A CHECK ON VIOLENCE. AN INJUNCTION APPLIED FOR. (Australian and N.Z. Cable Assn.) Received September 2, 12.30 p.m. NEW YORK, September 1. The Government, has made the first definite move to check violence. The Attorney-Genpral, Mr Dougherty, appeared before the Federal Court at Chicago and asked for an injunction to prevent strikers from interfering in any' manner with the employment of new workers by Hie railroads.
