TROUBLE OVER JEWELLERY
ARRESTED MAORI ENTERTAINERS,
EXTRADITED TO NEW ZEALAND

Roderick Munreme and Robert Heaton Munro have been committed to the custody of Constable Thom for return to Now Zealand-
At Broken Hill, Roderick Munreme, manager, and Robert Heaton Munro, advance representative, of a party of Maori entertainers, were remanded for eight days on bail, on a provisional warrant, charging them with having obtained from Mincwa Hcrmia, at Wellington, jewellery valued at £3OOO. In defence it was staled that the jewellery was given them by Hermia for safe keeping, to be realised upon if difficulty arose with the touring party. It is now in possession of a solicitor at Palmerston North.
