GERMAN CHANCELLOR’S PROTEST,
OPPRESSION AND INJUSTICE,
PROVOKE FURTHER HOSTILITIES
Received October 14, 8.45 a.m. BERLIN, October 13
Herr Wirth, the German Chancellor,, has issued a Cabinet statement declaring that the League Council’s decision regarding Upper Silesia is unjust, and not an economic necessity. If the decision is as reported German industries and works created by German initiative will be placed under foreign rule. Such separation would be oppression and a bitter injustice, calculated to provoke hostilities again.
