HAMILTON GUN CLUB

SERIES OF SWEEPSTAKES. The Hamilton Gun Glib held a series of sweepstakes on Mr Campbell's farm t-.t xXgahinepouri on Saturday. A fair number of shooters* competed, con sidering the adverse weather conditions, and a very enjoyable afternoon was spent. Mr and Mrs Campbell veiy generously supplied afternoon lea on the ground, which was much appreciated by the shooters. Four sweeps, were held during the afternoon with the following results.No. 1 sweep, seven birds, P- Campbell Ist, W. Howe and W, Woolven 2nd; No. 2 sweep., seven birds, C. Soddon Ist, W. .Woolven 2nd; No. 3, sweep., seven birds, W. Sweeney Ist, C. Seddon 2nd; No. 4 sweep., seven birds, J. R. Overton Ist, W. Woolven 2r.d.

The club will hold a shoot in Hamilton next Saturday, for a medal, presented by Mr Pascoe, of Hamilton.
