ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES
BODY FOUND IN SAND. WELLINGT ON, Mon day. The body of Miss E. L. Buckley was found half buried in Hie sand on Ward Island. The young woman, whose parents reside at Auckland, lias been missing from Petone since September 24. A search was made all along the beaches and the harbour, but nobody thought of looking at the island, wlrieh is rarely visited.
MAN FOUND DROWNED. (By Telegraph.—Press Association). OTAKI, Monday. Samuel Proctor, aged 58, was found drowned at Paruparumu on Saturday, with a bag of sand around his neck. A letter was found slating- he had nothing to Mve for.
