ORPHANS’ CLUB
LADIES’ NIGHT. The Hamilton Orphans’ Club he’d their annual ladies’ night at the Alexandra Hall on Saturday evening. I'he ladies turned out in good force, and the hall was nicely decorated for Hie occasion. The president, Mr. C. L. Mac Diarmid, was in the chair, and cordially welcomed the visitors. An excellent musical programme was submitted as follows:—Selections by the Orphans’ Club Orchestra; Bro. Saunders, song, “Unarmed Cup;’’ Bro. piper, song, “Prince Ivan song"; Bro. Wilkinson, imitations; Bro , Cade, “Sands Of Dea”; Bro. Jordan, “Blow Blow"; Bro. Puliyii, recitation; Bro. Day, “Mur Little Home,” An appetising supper was provided by Mrs Kusaeks, and altogelhcr the function was most enjoyable.
