DEAL IN NATIVE LANDS
(Bv Telegranh.—Press Association). WELLINGTON, Friday. Argument in the Gourt of Appeal was finished this morning.
Sir Hampson, of Rotorua, for the president of the Maori Land Hoard an ) Mr A. .). Rhodes, contended that the recommendation made by Ihe Board was in order, lie contended that no mailer how many native owners there might be, a person could purchase from them their individual interests and then go to the Gourt and ask for its approval to Ihese purchases. There was no need, lie said, for the approval of the assembled owners. Sir F. Bell, in reply, said there nevehad been any such interpretation of the Native I,and Act or its amendments. The Gourt reserved its decision.
