HAMILTON'S PROGRESS
MONTH'S BUILDINGS FIGURES. PERMITS FOR £23,000. Building permits to the value of £22,925 were issued by the Hamilton Borough engineer for the month of September. Of this sum £10,050 was for dwellings ajid £)0,950 for business premises. The amount collected in was £6-i Bs. The Mayor commented, when the report carne before the Council, that the year promised to be a record one for the town and for the Dominion on the basis of population. < =====
