* BURGLARY AT RSCCARTON. STRONGROOM, BROKEN INTO. (By Telegraph.—Cross Association.) IUIHISTCIIURCIi, Tuesday. Burglars entered the premises of the Bicoarton Timber Co., situated at Tliccarton early on Sunday morning, using explosives. They blew open the door of the strong room, but failed 1.0 open the safe by a similar method, the explosive used causing the door to jamb tightly. The burglars obtained only a. few cigars from tho manager's room. The safe contained £9O in cash and cheques. The noise of Ihe explosion was heard by residents in the neighbourhood, but no cme investigated the disturbance, and the burglary was not discovered till Monday morning.
