HAMILTON DEFEAT TE AWAMUTU. On Saturday the Hamilton Club visited Te Awamuiu, where they defeated the home club by the narrow margin of live points on the six rinks engaged. In the game between the first year's players, Pile, Armstrong, Hurrcll, King, s, (Hamilton) were beaten by Holloway, Weatherall, Peatc, Locker, s, (Te Awamutu) 14—21. WHITIORA V. NGARUAWAHIA. Four rinks (including one of first year's players) from Whitiora journeyed to Ngaruawahia on Saturday afternoon, and indulged in a friendly contest with rinks from the Delta township. A very pleasant time was spent, the visitors being most hospitably treated. Although Whitiora won two out of three games, Ngaruawahia won on the aggregate. Sanders, Dowry, Jcnkin, Higgott (s) won from their opponents by 23 to 21. McGregor, Empson, Bennett, Whitton (s) won by 19 to 17. Grigg, Clothier, Astle, Moffatt (s) were defeated, scoring 12 to their opponents' 22. Total —Ngaruawahia GO, Whitiora 54. First year players—Fenwick, Hand, Harvey, Choat (s) won by 21 to 17.
