A STEAMER HELD UP. By Telegraph.—Press Association. WELLINGTON, Saturday. The steame? Kapuni, trading from here to Patea, is held up owing to the crew's objections to go to sea until a public inquiry is hold regarding the .recent benzine explosion in the engineroom at Patea. They allege that the bulkhead js insufficient to prevent fumes working through to other parts of the ship. The steamer, however, has been passed by cxpf.rts as quite safe, and the owners contend that the explosion was accidental, and not connected in any way with the escape ot fumes through the bulkhead.'
