ARTICLE X.

CANADIAN OBJECTIONS. (Australian and N.Z. Cable Assn.) Received Dec. 9, 9.15 a.m. OTTAWA, Dec. 8. Sir R. L. Borden, the ex-Premier, in a published memorandum, declares that Canada's principle objection to Article X is that she does not wish to involve herself in the preservation of the territorial integrity and existing political independence of all the members of the League. The undertaking included in the Article seems to involve initially a careful survey, consideration and determination of all territorial questions between the various States, and even if such a survey were practicable it would be impossible to forecast the future.
