RETURNED SOLDIERS
* . DISMISSALS OF CASUALS. REMINDER TO THE GOVERNMENT. OF PROMISE FOB PREFERENCE. By Telegraph—Press Association. WELLINGTON, Friday. The executive of the Wellington Returned Soldiers' Association passed the following motion unanimously:— "That the Association views with alarm the proposed dismissal of returned soldiers who are temporary employees from the Public Services, and urges the Government to carry out its promise that preference of employment shall be given to returned soldiers."
