Five thousand pounds sterling will be added to the next Grand National, making it worth about £7OOO, which will now exceed the value of the Derby. ENGLISH RACING. Received December 6, 5.5 p.m. LONDON, December 5. Frank Wootton rode two firsts and a third at Kempton Park yesterday, making his week's record: 14 mounts, four wins, two seconds, four thirds. The critics consider him one of the best hurdling and steeplechase jockeys of recent years. He generally manages to get inside position at the starting post, as there is no draw under the National Hunt rules. WAIPA ACCEPTANCES. Acceptances for all events at the Waipa race meeting will close tomorrow evening at 9 o'clock.
