BARQUENTINE ON FIRE. By Telegraph—Press Association. NELSON, Monday. The barquentine Zita, bound from Wellington to the West Coast, was towed to Takaka this morning on lire. It is believed that this has now been extinguished. The vessel has been for gome weeks endeavouring to proceed down the West Coast, but has been delayed by westerly gales. NO BILL RETURNED. ____ v GISBORNE, Monday. At the Supreme Court, before Sir bohn Salmond, a no bill was returned in the case of Pritehard, who was charged with manslaughter of a man named Williamson in a fight in a loundry.
