AUSTRALIAN RECORD BROKEN. (United Press Association.) ( Received January 14, 9.35 p.m. SYDNEY, Jan. 14. Ross, the American- swimmer, in a scratch race at Newcastle, swam 330 yards in 3.31 J, beating Kieran's Australian record by three-fifths of a second.
