AMERICAN PRESIDENCY
ARROGANCY OF REPUBLICANS. DENOUNCED BY DEMOCRATS. (Australian and N.Z. Cable Assn.) NEW YORK, Jan. 8. The Democratic National Committee is meeting at Chicago to arrange preliminaries in connection with the Presidential nominations. It denounced the arrogancy of Republicans and demanded, the Senate to cease political manoeuvring. The meeting repudiated the suggestion that the United States joined the Allies in order to leave them in the lurch when peace and reconstruction became imperative.
